B-day and stuff

Jalyssa turned 14 this month. She's all teenager, which has it's good and bad moments.
Brian and I can't believe how much she's grown/changed. She's my beautiful girl!

We had some fun moments recently, rare...so I must make the most of them! : )

This was after she did my hair for fun. I've got a half pony going with red and blue color in it. (washes out) and a tiny braid in the front. A picture like this is so rare. I thought they were extinct.

Blake with a hat he made in school.

Jalyssa with an accessory for her new room color and the paint color she chose.

A BEFORE pic...taken about 5 years ago. (the hamster is deceased now) : )

The new color... planning on Black curtains...haven't found anything she likes yet within reason!

This is my niece Aleya and Jalyssa at J's b-day party. Both video camera freaks.

Well that's it for now. Brian's new job is still going well, about 3 months into it and they have picked up a few new clients. I'm enjoying my time with the kids and continuing my photography from my home studio.

Winter blahs...no not yet!

The kids have enjoyed this winter a ton so far. Over winter break we had plenty of snow, unlike the past several winter breaks where there was no snow all break and then it would snow the day school resumed. We took Jalyssa and Blake sledding/snowboarding a couple times.
The rest of the winter has been spent playing Wii Games, which keeps you rather warm, watching movies when it's too cold outside, making forts and other little things.
Blake loves to help shovel the driveway, if I haven't already snow blowed it.
Jalyssa spends her free time writing stories and making movies. She's really found a niche making movies with our camcorder and then editing them on the computer.
Blake has lost two teeth this winter, both his bottom front ones. He was very excited about that. Now his front top teeth are loose.
Jalyssa will be 14 this month and in a week or two will be choosing her High School classes for next year. Wow, where has time gone? I'm not quite ready for her to go to HS.
Brian's work is going well. They have gotten a couple new clients that have been keeping him busy. We are very blessed and continue to pray for all those who are still looking for jobs.
